I've forced myself to stop searching for the perfect song. I've realized that it is not the most important thing. I don't want to produce the perfect song - I cant - even if I wanted to.

Instead I want to become a better producer. I set myself a challenge to write and most importantly TO FINISH a given song in the shortest possible amount of time.

So the whole thing was a rather spontaneous idea - I came across a musical idea on the Kelstone - the opening riff. I decided to set up a new session and record some of the writing process on camera. It was almost midnight by the time I started and I wanted to see how far I could come. I ended up finishing the whole song in about 4.5 hours and spent an extra day editing. You see - this is the part I have the least experience with - it took me forever. Still - that's the aim of the whole thing. So yeah - enjoy Silver Lake and stay tuned for more.
